Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Jon C. ("we", "us"), who makes and sells ModelHaus, a desktop program for organizing 3D print files. By downloading or using ModelHaus you accept them.

Your license

When you buy a license we give you a personal, non-exclusive right to install and use ModelHaus on up to 3 computers that you own or control. You may not sell, rent or share your license, copy the program for others, or take it apart or modify it, except where the law lets you.

You can move your license between your computers on your Account page, up to 3 swaps a year. A license is turned off automatically if the purchase is refunded or charged back.

The free trial

ModelHaus has a 14-day free trial. You sign in with your email address to start it. When it ends, or if your license is turned off or cannot be checked for too long, the program keeps working in a limited mode: you can still see your files under All Files, search them, and use Open in slicer. The 3D viewer, favorites, collections, tags and duplicates turn off, and your folders are frozen, so you cannot add, remove or rescan them. What you set up while licensed stays saved and comes back when you buy. Buying a license restores everything.

Updates

Updates are free for as long as we offer ModelHaus. We may change or add features.

Your files

ModelHaus reads the folders you add and keeps its own index on your computer. It does not move, change or delete your files, and your files never leave your computer. You are responsible for your own backups.

Buying through Paddle

Our reseller, Paddle, sells licenses and is the seller of record for each order. Paddle collects payment and sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt. Paddle's own terms apply to your purchase.

Refunds

You can get your money back within 14 days of buying. See the refund policy.

No warranty and limit of liability

ModelHaus is provided "as is". We try to make it reliable, but we do not promise it will be error free or meet every need. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using ModelHaus at any time. We may end a license that is used against these terms, for example one shared beyond the limit above.

Changes of ownership

We may transfer ModelHaus, this business and its licenses to a successor, such as a company we form or a buyer of the business. Your license continues on the same terms if that happens.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA. Disputes are decided in the courts located in Missouri, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
