What does ModelHaus do?

It indexes the folders where your 3D print files already live, in place, and gives you one library to browse, search, tag and open in your slicer.

Does it move or change my files?

No. It never writes inside the folders you add. Its index, thumbnails and settings live in its own data folder.

Which files does it find?

3MF, STL and STEP files, including the ones inside zip, rar, 7z, tar and tar.gz archives. Nothing is unpacked into your folders. STEP files show a placeholder picture for now.

What if a drive is unplugged?

Network and removable folders stay listed, greyed out, while the drive is offline, and are rescanned when you open the app or ask it to.

Which slicers does it work with?

Any. You pick your slicer once and ModelHaus opens models in it. You can pick a different one for a single model.

Which computers does it run on?

Mac, Windows and Linux.

How many computers can I use?

One license covers up to 3 of your own computers.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 14 days, with an account (your email and a code, no card). After that you can still see your files under All Files, search them and use Open in slicer. The 3D viewer, favorites, collections, tags and duplicates turn off, and your folders are frozen. Everything you set up stays saved and comes back when you buy.

How do I get my license key back?

Sign in on this website with your email and a code. Your key is on the Account page. If it leaked, or you need a new one, write to support@modelhaus.app and we will issue a new key. The old key stops working.

How do I move ModelHaus to a new computer?

Sign in on the Account page and use Remove next to the computer you no longer use. Then sign in to ModelHaus on the new one. You get 3 swaps a year.

Do I pay for updates?

No. Updates are free for as long as ModelHaus exists.

Do I need to be online?

Only now and then, so ModelHaus can check your license. It works offline in between.

How do I get a refund?
